Pediatric Private Duty Nurse - LPN or RN
CHHC is seeking Skilled Nurses (RNs and LPNs), with at least one year of pediatric experience to care for medically fragile children between the ages of (0-21). Shifts are flexible and may vary between permanent, part-time or PRN weekday and weekend shifts. Day, evening or night shifts are available. Hours may vary from 8 hours, 12 hours up to 16 hours per shift. The Licensed or Registered Nurse Applicant must be able to pass a federal criminal background clearance, demonstrate skills competency to the Nurse Educator or RN Interviewer and have a genuine care and compassion for working with special-needs children and the medically fragile.
Young Adults and Adults - Private Duty Nurse - LPN or RN
CHHC utilizes the Private Duty Nurse (LPN or RN) to render skilled nursing care, usually to one patient, in their home or other patient care delivery sites, under the supervision of an RN Supervisor, Essential Functions include: Administers medications, treatments, dressings, and other nursing services, according to physician’s instructions and condition of patient. Provides service in accordance with CHESAPEAKE HOME HEALTH CARE, INC. philosophy, standards and polices. Nurse (LPN or RN) Applicants must have: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, At least 6 months to one year of experience as a Nurse, Current CPR Certification, Be able to pass a criminal back ground clearance, Possess a current nursing license in the state of Maryland or compact state and Be able to demonstrate nursing skills to the Nurse Educator or Nurse Interviewer.
RN Supervisor - Home Care
CHHC is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to assist in supervising lower level nursing staff. Essential Functions include: Knowledgeable in Patient Care Delivery and Patient Development, Coordination of Care Services, Tracking Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Indicators, Providing In-Services and Training to Private Duty Nurses Assist the Quality Assurance Nurse and Patient Care Navigators in managing patient schedules, Reviews and audits clinical documentations for completeness and accuracy, Participates in hiring clinical staff and Developing Plans of Treatment/485’s for doctor’s authorization.
